Heron Room
Location: Baltimore, MD
Date Completed: September 2018
Description: This brand new Baltimore wedding venue is located in a very, very old Baltimore space. We installed multiple walls of reclaimed wood cladding in this historic mill to compliment the aged stone. The wood is precisely cut to fit against the stone walls to create a seamless transition, and mitered corners on all the walls make a clean, finished look. We also retrofitted walnut doors, salvaged from the old Baltimore bank building downtown, to be used as bathroom doors. Some of the doors weren't big enough, so we added onto them with new walnut and stain-matched the old finish perfectly. In the kitchen area, we built a sink vanity and outfitted it with matching reclaimed wood cladding. In the bathrooms, we used antique glass railroad insulators for truly unique lighting fixtures.
